About project:
"The NFE Lab: Designing the Future of Youth Participation" is an Erasmus+ youth workers mobility project focused on youth participation, civic engagement, and non-formal education methods. The project will provide youth workers and youth leaders with an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn new methods, and develop practical approaches for working with young people. Its main aim is to strengthen participants' competences in youth participation and non-formal education by providing them with practical knowledge and methods that can be applied in their work with young people.
Project Duration: 04.08.2026-09.08.2026
Project Objectives:
- strengthen participants' competences in non-formal education and experiential learning;
- improve participants' ability to design, test, and evaluate educational methods;
- increase understanding and practical skills related to youth participation and civic engagement;
- develop teamwork, communication, and intercultural cooperation skills;
- encourage participants to apply the knowledge and methods gained in their local youth work;
- promote the exchange of experiences and the development of new international cooperation opportunities.
Activities:
A six-day training course will bring together 23 participants from 8 countries — Latvia, the Republic of North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Türkiye, Spain, and Italy — along with two experienced trainers from Latvia and Italy.

Deeper understanding of youth participation and civic engagement.
Strengthened competences in non-formal education.
Practical tools and methods for working with young people.
Improved communication, teamwork, and intercultural cooperation skills.
Application of gained knowledge in local youth work.
Sharing of knowledge and experience with other youth workers and young people.
