About project:

The project "Inclusive Paths" will bring together the association "Raibais kaķis" from Latvia and YOUTH COUNCIL NEXT GENERATION SKOPJE from North Macedonia to strengthen inclusion and diversity in youth work.

The project will focus on simulation-based learning - a practical non-formal education approach that helps young people experience different perspectives, develop empathy, reduce stereotypes, and build safer and more inclusive environments.

Project Duration: 01.09.2026 - 29.02.2028.

Project Objectives:

The main aim of the project is to strengthen youth participants competences in inclusion and introduce high-quality, accessible simulation methods into everyday youth work, with particular attention to young people with fewer opportunities.

Activities:

The project will directly involve youth workers, youth leaders, educators, youth participants  and facilitators from Latvia and North Macedonia. Young people aged 13-29.

Expected Impact:

A field-tested Simulation Handbook with at least 12 methods will be produced in three languages.

At least 10 youth parti will strengthen their ability to facilitate inclusive activities and receive Youthpass certificates.

50 local youth participants will participate in dissemination workshops.

More than 100 organisations will receive the project materials, and at least 10 organisations will adopt the tools in their local practice.

At least 100 young people, including young people with fewer opportunities, will be reached through simulations and follow-up activities.

Long-term cooperation between the Latvian and North Macedonian partners will be strengthened, contributing to higher-quality inclusive youth work across Europe.
